Job Description
Department: No-Fault Claims Department Experience: 3-5 years Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Process insurance claims and refund/claim checks Input and identify information pertaining to new claims Work with insurance companies to process data entry of claims, medical records, and vendor bills Perform daily administrative functions such as answering the phone, photocopying, filing, and scanning Utilize expertise with the ADR provider’s online dispute resolution platform Understand medical reports and terminology Understand legal concepts and terminology Familiarity with worker compensation fee schedule Maintain exceptional organizational skills Work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing business needs Obtain and maintain Adjuster License (if not already licensed)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working on no-fault claims in the state of New York Understanding and experience with Regulation 68 and regulatory time frames Knowledge of New York No-Fault Arbitration process Proficiency in data entry and accuracy Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
