Job Description
The Nursing Attendant is a member of a team dedicated to provide the highest quality care and services to our patients by assisting in such functions as maintaining a safe, clean and functional environment; assisting with dietary aspects of care; facilitating communication, i.e., answering phones; transporting patients and assisting visitors. As an integral part of the team, the Nursing Attendant is responsible for activities, which promote patient focused care within the Patient Unit.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate or equivalent with vocational/technical training preferred. Effective English communication skills, both written and oral. Graduate of State Certified Program or 1 year clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) required
