NBI Analyst - Providing Professional Support Services at Law Firm Salary Range: $31.25 USD to $36.06 USD per hour Experience: Entry Level to Mid-Level
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform conflict searches and analyze results for potential conflicts of interest - Assist attorneys in interpreting and resolving conflicts of interest - Research client entities using various resources to identify conflicts of interest - Provide guidance on new business intake policies and procedures - Ensure new engagements comply with firm standards and guidelines - Collaborate with the firm's General Counsel on conflict and new business intake issues - Manage and respond to daily inquiries regarding new business intake and conflicts of interest - Review engagement and retainer letters for compliance with firm standards - Conduct conflict searches for lateral candidates and report any potential conflicts to management - Maintain and update client and matter database information - Participate in monthly team meetings and present relevant topics
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment - Strong research, decision-making, and proofreading skills - Excellent analytical skills and ability to exercise independent judgment - Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines - Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills - Flexible and dependable, willing to work overtime as needed - Working knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016, and document management systems
Working Conditions:
- Normal law office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, and temperature
Compensation:
- Salary determined by factors such as geographic location, experience, and relevant degrees and certifications
