Job Title: Mid-level to Senior Attorney Company: Fait & DiLima, LLP Location: Rockville, MD
Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of a client’s case – discovery, pleadings, motions, experts, depositions, mediation, pretrial hearings, motion hearings, and trials. Conduct consultations, client meetings, and recommend strategies. Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their work. Contribute to developing the strategy of a case and know where to find the rules of procedure and case law to back up that case strategy. Find your way around the courtroom and project confidence and competence when dealing with people on behalf of our clients. Know how to read financial statements, understand equitable distribution, and able to put together a custody access plan. Help clients understand whether they really want to spend $500 to fight with their ex over a $50 lamp.
Qualifications:
JD Law Degree from an accredited university. 5 years Family Law Experience. Litigation experience a must. Strong Legal Research and writing skills.
Compensation:
$125,000 – $140,000 annually (DOE)
