The Law Firm is seeking a mid-level Construction & Design Associate with 3-5 years of experience in construction litigation and/or contract drafting. This is a full-time position based in San Diego, CA.
Role Overview
As a member of the Construction and Design team at Stoel Rives, the mid-level associate will be involved in a variety of transactional and litigation matters related to construction projects, both public and private. This is a significant opportunity to gain experience in high-stakes litigation and contract negotiations, while also working with a team of experienced attorneys and collaborating with clients on a local, regional, and national level.
Responsibilities
- Negotiating construction and design contracts - Handling a wide range of litigation matters related to construction projects - Providing strategic and practical legal advice to companies in the real estate, construction, and design industries - Building and maintaining relationships with the local business community
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in construction litigation and/or contract drafting - Strong interpersonal skills - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Detail-oriented with the ability to produce client-ready documents - Good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance - Strong intellectual curiosity - Self-motivation and commitment to client service and team success - JD from an accredited university - Active membership in or commitment to applying for the California State Bar
Benefits and Compensation
