Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to attorneys working on medical malpractice defense and plaintiff’s personal injury cases - Handle medical records requests and track responses from health care providers - Draft pleadings, correspondence, and claim statements - Communicate with clients, health care providers, and experts - Efficiently manage scheduling, calendars, and deadlines - Track and follow up on discovery - Proficiency with state and federal e-filing - Proficiency in Excel - Knowledge of turbo-court and trial director
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role - Paralegal degree and medical training not required, but preferred - High level of proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Word - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
