Job Title: Director, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit

Salary Range: $87,282-$139,542, based on experience and location

Job Description:

- The Office of Special Prosecutions is seeking a qualified attorney to act as the Director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU).
- The MFCU is a federally mandated and funded unit responsible for investigating and prosecuting fraud in the Medicaid program.
- This is a full-time permanent position located in Anchorage, Alaska.
- The successful candidate will handle high profile multi-million-dollar cases involving health care issues on both the state and national level.
- Responsibilities include supervising health care fraud investigations, litigation, and providing advice to partner agencies.
- This is a unique opportunity for a talented and experienced attorney to make a difference in the fight against health care fraud.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 7 years of experience as a criminal prosecutor, civil litigator, or both.
- Prior experience supervising attorneys and staff members is necessary.
- Familiarity with document-intensive civil and/or criminal investigations and complex litigation is desired.
- Candidates should be highly self-motivated, creative in thinking about litigation, and able to effectively manage and motivate others.
