Permanent, full-time role based locally in Kwinana – with free on-site parking

About the role
Right now we’re on the lookout for a
Mechanical Fitter
to support our Maintenance team
located in Kwinana.
As the newest member of our
safety focussed Kleenheat Operations team, you’ll report to
the Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for maintaining fixed
and mobile LPG and LNG assets.
You will work on a diverse range of equipment
such as gas transport tankers and gas storage and supply facilities
located around Western Australia.
In this varied and interesting role,
your key responsibilities will include:
Performing mechanical fitting, pipe fitting and general fabrication.
Providing clear and accurate inspection reports following preventative maintenance activities.
Participating in a callout roster, responding to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a positive, helpful and timely manner.
Periodical travel to remote mine sites to conduct maintenance.
Providing relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of cost, efficiency and equipment integrity.
Maintaining all company assets in a safe operating condition.
Following workplace occupational health and safety policies and procedures for hazard identification and risk assessment, and ensuring safety remains our number one priority in the workplace.
To excel in the role you’ll
need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this
position means:
Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.
Strong commitment to safety.
High risk work license that may include Dogman, Rigging, Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform and Confined Space.
High level skills in fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
Great team work and excellent communication skills.
