About the role Kleenheat are on the hunt for Mechanical Fitters to support our Maintenance Team located in Kwinana. Being a full-time permanent position, this opportunity is ready for an immediate start. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor at Kwinana, this role will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance functions for the fixed and mobile LPG and LNG assets. You will work on a diverse range of equipment including road transport trailers, bulk storage vessels and vehicle fuel dispensing units. Key responsibilities include Diagnostic fault finding on pneumatic and hydraulic systems Manage breakdown repairs and servicing of all equipment; diagnose, dismantle, assemble and align equipment Identify, assess and control machinery and equipment for possible mechanical hazards; preventative maintenance Prevent the use of defective equipment and arrange for their prompt repair Perform welding repairs and fabrication repairs Complete maintenance reporting on a daily basis Providing clear and accurate inspection reports following preventative maintenance activities. Participating in a callout roster, responding to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a positive, helpful and timely manner. Periodical travel to remote mine sites to conduct maintenance. Providing relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of cost, efficiency and equipment integrity. To excel in the role you’ll need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this opportunity means: Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential). Previous mobile and fixed plant experience preferred. A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team. A strong focus on safety. Hold a current Australian Driver Licence. Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance. It will also be advantageous to have the following HRW licence: Rigging, Dogging, EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space.
