We are looking for a Marketing Director to help Saatchi Art from our Santa Monica office. In this role, you're responsible for crafting messaging and product narratives that inspire new customers and existing users. You must be highly knowledgeable in modern marketing tactics - including email marketing, content marketing, paid search, website optimization, partner marketing, social and influencer marketing. You’ll Report To: GM/SVP, Saatchi Art A typical day as a Manager Director - Saatchi Art might include: Plan, lead and measure marketing demand generation activities that increase product awareness and acquire new users. Oversee the mid to lower funnel consumer journey, including: acquisition, consideration and lifecycle marketing. Deliver targeted content and offers to key customer segments based on transactional and behavioral data through email and other key channels (e.g. in-app, push, Facebook, etc.) Manage a rich merchandising/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our site. Direct our writers and creative team to implement a content marketing strategy Partner cross functionally with product to understand what we are building, why we are building it, to create targeted marketing campaigns Take a highly analytical approach to measuring performance and turn insights into actionable plans Dive deep into the art world to understand how to best reach art collectors and foster a positive and connected artist community. You’ll be successful if you are an all-in-one marketer, someone who can build and grow our marketing strategy from the ground up. We are looking for an amazing, data-driven inbound marketer to own the majority of the marketing funnel for our company. You will be in charge of attracting site traffic and nurturing leads to close into customers. You are able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, has a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This is a highly visible role within the organization. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field 6-8 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in pure digital developing and executing digital marketing programs Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics. Solid understanding of paid media, paid search, display; and analytics Experience using google analytics Solid background in analyzing marketing metrics, quantitative evaluations of planned and completed marketing efforts, and analyzing test results in quantitative analysis, online marketing, and/or direct marketing Experience managing large marketing budgets and ROI optimization Experience with negotiating with and influencing search marketing vendors Creative experience. This can include working with creatives on direct mail creative, print, landing pages, etc. Ability to communicate effectively to business stakeholders, team and partners Ability to influence and manage multiple teams with excitement to reach milestones.
