Apply Now We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to fill a key role in a high profile sales operations group. The Marketing Associate is responsible for the development and execution of Demand Media advertiser solutions for clients and representatives, including custom pitches and execution. This role involves collaboration with numerous business partners and creative resources to conceive, produce and execute robust best in class sales programs. The right candidate will additionally own many operational projects including product development, pricing and packaging. Success in this role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize among multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail. This role requires strong communication skills as you will be working across business and product teams internally as well as managing relationships with 3rd party partners. We require an opportunistic team player who takes pride in their work, executes on projects and deadlines, and proactively finds ways to create efficiencies. Responsibilities: Serve as the site expert to the sales representatives, including collaboration with site General Managers to ensure most up to date information on site traffic, editorial calendars, product and features roadmaps are shared with the team. Develop data driven material for sales team, working closely with Account Directors and Audience Team to surface insights on Demand Media O/O site level data. Educate and train the sales organization on new ad opportunities, site features and functionality. Collaborate with Account Management team to support campaign wrap up materials, case studies and marketing collateral. Supporting Sr. Marketing Manager in maintenance of sales packages, one-sheets, editorial calendars and overall in-market efforts. Understand the brand positioning and drive product development and features that deliver on the brand promise. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of advertising, sales and/or marketing experience in an agency or media environment. Experience developing online marketing or sales programs. A passion for ideas and the ability to drive creativity into well-executed programs. Understanding of social media, internet, mobile and passion for emerging media formats. The ability to work collaboratively across a large, matrixed organization to drive results. Analytical skills and the ability to drive programs toward business goals. Strong speaking skills and the ability to showcase marketing programs via presentations.
