Overview: - Join one of New Jersey's largest law firms - Support lawyers in building profiles and driving business development - Work closely with Director of Marketing - Based in Roseland office
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives - Build firm and individual partner visibility through events, sponsorships, and campaigns - Assist with new business endeavors, including pitch materials and business development presentations - Conduct research on clients, prospects, competitors, and industries - Manage firm marketing content, including website, social media, and collateral - Identify and track rankings, awards, and survey submissions - Manage and grow firm's social media presence - Stay updated on legal industry trends and best practices - Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - 4-5 years marketing and/or business development experience - Bachelor's degree required - Proficiency in technology and online information databases - Exceptional communication skills - Strong organizational and project management skills - Client service-oriented mindset - Ability to take initiative and work independently

This integral role supports lawyers in building their profiles through thought leadership and sponsorships, as well as assisting with business development activities such as proposals and presentations. Based in the firm's headquarters in Roseland, this position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Marketing and collaborate with various levels within the firm.
As a Marketing & Business Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to: - Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives for attorneys, practice areas, and regions - Enhance the firm and individual partners' visibility through events, sponsorships, and campaigns - Assist with new business endeavors by preparing pitch materials and business development presentations - Conduct research on clients, prospects, competitors, and industries to provide valuable insights - Manage all firm marketing content, including website, social media, and collateral - Identify and track rankings, awards, and survey submissions to showcase the firm's achievements - Manage and grow the firm's social media presence through effective campaigns and lawyer engagement - Stay updated on legal industry trends and adopt best practices to enhance marketing efforts - Take initiative and adapt to change in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
To be successful in this role, you should have: - 4-5 years of marketing and/or business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment - A bachelor's degree - Proficiency in technology and online information databases - Exceptional oral and written communication skills - Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail - A client service-oriented mindset, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with personnel at various levels - The ability to take initiative, adapt to change, and work independently
