Reel Fathers Rights APC, a leading family law firm in California, is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Managing Paralegal to join our team in San Diego. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000, based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual who is passionate about family law and committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Managing Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys and legal secretaries to help manage and oversee our cases and provide support to our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership skills and experience in a paralegal role to take the next step in their career and grow with our firm.
Responsibilities of the Managing Paralegal include:
- Managing legal secretaries and providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective case management. - Assisting attorneys with calendar management, case transfers, and other administrative tasks. - Attending pod meetings and providing updates on cases to the team. - Managing receptionist and legal secretary chats to ensure smooth communication within the firm. - Overseeing biweekly trainings and working with senior paralegals to develop new topics for training. - Running reports from Clio as instructed by the firm.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law. - 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
