Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and experienced Managing Paralegal to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
The Managing Paralegal will play a crucial role in the success of our firm by managing a team of legal secretaries and assisting the managing attorney in various tasks. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal and at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Some key responsibilities for the Managing Paralegal include:
- Managing and overseeing the work of legal secretaries, providing guidance and support as needed - Assisting the managing attorney with calendar management and case transfers - Attending pod meetings and acting as the eyes and ears of the managing attorney - Managing receptionist and legal secretary chats - Overseeing biweekly trainings and collaborating with senior paralegals on new topics - Running reports from Clio as instructed by the managing attorney
