- Provide day-to-day legal counsel to the Business at all levels - Review, draft and negotiate various contracts related to the Peaks business - Oversee, manage and mentor small internal legal team - Legal support for Peaks M&A activities - Establish and implement policies and processes within the Business - Effective internal support for Peaks working alongside other functions - Manage Peaks' corporate governance - Serve as a member of the Summit corporate leadership team
- JD from accredited law school - Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one state bar - Ten or more years of experience in a law firm, state regulatory agency or in-house setting - Renewable development experience preferred - Solid transactional and management experience - Experience in real estate law, utility regulation and/or corporate governance a plus
- Business-friendly approach to legal problem solving - Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and results-oriented - Strong ability to mentor and manage effectively - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Desire to learn the Business and new areas of law - Able to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of colleagues - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
