POSITION OVERVIEW: The primary responsibility of the Manager - HR Communications is to enhance Team Member engagement by communicating Company initiatives and pertinent information to all Team Members.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *Oversee internal HR communications campaigns, projects and deliverables including strategy, message development and implementation. *Manage responsibilities for the department to include hiring of new Team Members, promotions, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, discipline, recognition, and termination. *Collaborate with business partners across company to ensure effectiveness and consistency of internal communication messaging to all team members; work with business partners to develop and execute comprehensive communications plans as appropriate. *Lead content for property and/or corporate intranet website and other digital channels; Assist in improvement and overall site enhancements, as needed. *Research, review, manage, and produce a variety of print and electronic media in support of communication activities including digital content, videos, executive communications, presentations, memos, feature articles. *Partner with Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media, and other communication partners to share and celebrate internal company stories ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *Lead, manage, and execute projects and initiatives across Human Resources to support business objectives. *Manage branding initiatives for Human Resources, including employer brand and related collateral and materials. *Manage key engagement initiatives to create comprehensive engagement plans to support all Human Resources and internal initiatives. *Define and identify engagement vehicles required to drive Team Member engagement, education, and awareness. *Identify and execute against company and department goals, strategies and business requirements. *Define, support, and implement engagement efforts related to Team Member initiatives, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and all other key functions within Human Resources. ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *Review and manage projects, events, and or/initiatives to ensure direct connection to the business. *Manage organizational announcements for the property. *Manage key messages for Team Member engagement events. *Manage and improve engagement metrics. *Remain budget-conscious and analyze each project, event, and/or initiative to mitigate financial waste. *Collaborate with senior leaders to define property-wide engagement and communication needs. *Safety is an essential function of this job. *Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job. *Performs other related duties as assigned. All The Venetian Resort Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *21 years of age. *Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States. *High School Diploma or equivalent. *Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or another related discipline preferred. *Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy *5 years of communication experience with a focus on internal and/or executive communication. *3 years of Supervisory experience preferred. *Demonstrated experience in project management and managing budgets. *Working knowledge of copywriting or journalism. *Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. *Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to:
*Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned. *Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation. *Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts. *Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts. *Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel. *Work in a fast-paced and busy environment. *Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
