POSITION OVERVIEW The primary responsibility of the Manager - Corporate Communications is to manage and support the company's public relations programs, including corporate narrative and story-telling against department goals and execution of narrative through and management of corporate communications channels (external communications/media relations, global team member communications, social media, blog and newsletter). Activities include writing and editing corporate narrative, media relations, blog posts, social media coordination, corporate social responsibility initiatives, awards recognition, sustainability communications and other programs that build corporate reputation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *Work with Executive Director - Corporate Communications to create narrative around department goals, execute corporate narrative through story-telling across all corporate communications channels. *Execute department assignments or projects, meeting deadlines related to those assignments. *Focus on achieving the goals or objectives of the department using available resources (staff and budgetary), including enhancing department effectiveness and managing resources to eliminate excess cost or unnecessary expenditures. *Work closely with the Executive Director - Corporate Communications to implement communications programs. *Execute company story-telling around important initiatives such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, awards and recognition, company news/business developments and other corporate initiatives. *Execute comprehensive global internal communications campaigns around key corporate initiatives and messaging. *Lead events and communications campaigns for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. *Create and oversee the corporate communications content calendar and manage all story-telling opportunities defined in the calendar. *Contribute to website with content creation. *Organize and manage awards and recognition programs globally. *Create relationships and serve as a corporate communications representative with various company departments to coordinate communications activities and mine the organization for communications/story opportunities. *Organize and conduct monthly meetings with all LVS property Public Relations teams and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) leads. *Oversee the development of a quarterly newsletter covering corporate news, such as highlights of LVS/property Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, global company and property developments and awards/honors for global executive distribution *Work closely with Executive Director - Corporate Communications to outline, write, edit and distribute annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. *Serve as a liaison with the company's communications agency partners. *Manage monthly editorial calendar and develop content for the company blog and other social media channels. *Assist direction of the social media strategy, narrative and voice and execute social media. *Draft external communications documents (press releases, speeches, media advisories). *Assist in overseeing interview requests. *Manage trade media lists and act as a point of contact for media inquiries. *Organize and manage awards and recognition programs globally. *Assist with coordination of speaking and other executive visibility opportunities. *Develop department-relevant reports including social media analytics, newsletter analytics. *Safety is an essential function of this job. *Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job. *Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS *21 years of age. *Proof of authorization to work in the United States. *BS degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field required. Consideration will be given for demonstrated experience in lieu of a degree. *5 years' prior experience working in communications; public relations or marketing communications. *Previous corporate PR, internal communications or agency experience is preferred. *Experience with designing a communications strategy and executing on it effectively. *Ability to solve complex problems; lead cross-organizational efforts; build relationships across organization boundaries. *Demonstrated experience in writing and delivering captivating communications. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to flex based on the needs of diverse audiences. *Strategic thinking, creativity, flexibility and ability to work in a changing environment; resourcefulness and resiliency. *Attention to detail, commitment to quality and continuous improvement. *Ability to handle confidential information. *Ability to travel. *Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. *Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
