Job Description: Providing oversight for contract management activities on Fluor projects, ensuring compliance with all statutes, regulations, and contract terms and conditions. Reporting to project and department leadership, reviewing and approving contract awards, and participating in developing contracting strategies. Work performed in home office and field locations for projects of varying durations.
Basic Job Requirements:
• Accredited four-year degree or equivalent and 12 years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and experience
• Effective communication skills
• Job-related technical knowledge
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Attention to detail and time management skills
Other Job Requirements:
• Managing contracts on large projects, developing client relationships, and monitoring subcontractor compliance
• Familiarity with Fluor's Contract Management and SAP systems
• Supervising junior contracts personnel and providing professional advancement opportunities
• Willingness to travel for business purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree or equivalent
• 15 years of contract management, subcontract administration, and procurement experience in engineering and construction projects
• Experience in developing and negotiating contract terms and conditions
• Understanding of contracting principles and legal terms
• Familiarity with construction industry and contract language
• Ability/willingness to work on home office and field assignments
• Experience managing construction contracts on industrial project sites
