About the role The role of the Maintenance Supervisor will see you working from our Kwinana Workshop and be responsible for the day-to-day people management, development and leadership of the maintenance team. Our maintenance team carry out all aspects of fixed and mobile plant mechanical maintenance and repairs on range of assets to ensure fluent operations. Also pivotal to the role is administering and ensuring statutory regulations and standards are kept, safety and environment regulations adhered, and performance expectations of all plant and equipment. This role will be great for anyone who wants to expand their leadership experience and an opportunity to progress in their career. This is a full-time residential role with standard Monday to Friday hours. Key responsibilities: Manage the daily duties of 1 yard, 1 workshop and 20 staff Responsible for the asset performance reporting for plant maintenance Assistance with technical fault finding, providing support and guidance to teams members Adhere to the HSE requirements; champion safety across the group Set and monitor team performance plans Ensure the maintenance system is effective and well-co-ordinated and ensure activities are carried out to specifications and to best practice Advise on fleet budget (efficiencies) Identify growth areas and endeavour to improve financial profitability The successful applicant will possess the following skills: Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a position of a similar level Relevant trade qualification Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Structural) highly desired preferred experience with fixed plant assets and/or heavy vehicles A manual C class drivers’ license Excellent decision making ability utilizing data driven processes and analysis Forward thinking, strategically minded Significant experience in reliability systems and processes Strong focus on continuous improvement and commercial awareness Able to act as a strong and positive example to the workforce; mentor to the team Adaptable to ever-changing needs and circumstances Knows how to foster motivation, set clear specific objectives Be a strong communicator – not forgetting to have a laugh along the way We value our employees At Kleenheat, we have a range of benefits to keep life flowing inside and outside of the workplace.
