Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Manager with work collatorabilty with the Clinical Faculty, Nurse Educators, Management and Leadership across MMC. The primary focus of this role will be to establish, sustain and make ongoing improvements to the New Nurse Residency Program (NRP) across the three MMC campuses. Once ANCC requirements are met, this program will be submitted for accreditation as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Registered Nurse in NYS.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Master's in nursing required.
Certification in area of specialty required.
Prior teaching experience in the clinical setting required.
Experience in initiating new clinical programs required.
Fluent in English and with strong writing skills -maybe asked to provide a writing sample for review.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate in Nursing preferred.
Prior experience setting up NRP programs a distinct advantage.
Experience as a mentor or setting up a mentoring program also an advantage.
