Job Summary: As M&A and Corporate Counsel at SPX Technologies, you will provide legal counsel and support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. You will work closely with senior leadership, legal and other functional teams, and external advisors to structure, negotiate, and close deals.
Job Responsibilities: - Manage and conduct due diligence processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and negotiate deals - Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents - Provide strategic legal advice to senior management - Support post-transaction integration
M&A and Corporate Infrastructure and Support: - Manage outside counsel - Develop and maintain playbooks, templates, and presentations - Train business teams on processes and policies - Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations - Provide general corporate legal support
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education: - 3-6 years of experience in M&A and corporate law - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal matters - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Juris Doctor degree and admission to a U.S. state Bar
