Are you an experienced Case Manager looking for a new opportunity? Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the country, is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Case Manager to join their Litigation Support department. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work in multiple locations, including Phoenix, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
As a Litigation Support Case Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact between the Litigation Support Department and case teams working on matters involving electronic discovery. This role will require you to use your expertise in eDiscovery technology and methodologies to consult with attorneys, propose strategies, and oversee data handling workflows. You will also provide training and support to case teams and work closely with the firm's managed data services resources to design and implement solutions for litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic consultant/advisor for clients, attorneys, and staff on the application of electronic discovery technology and methodologies - Develop and maintain knowledge of industry-standard eDiscovery tools and platforms - Provide cost estimates for data preservation, collection, and processing and ensure attorneys understand the nature of the estimate - Implement quality assurance procedures to verify completeness of managed services processes and deliverables - Consult with attorneys on search strategies and oversee search result sampling and analysis - Advise and support attorneys and staff on effective Relativity workflows - Oversee project progress and workflow from inception through trial - Provide end-user Relativity training - Follow firm procedures for billing time and adhere to Litigation Support Department guidelines and best practices - Flexibility to work overtime and travel up to 25% as needed
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a litigation support project manager or similar role at a large law firm or electronic discovery vendor - 2 years of hands-on Relativity administrative experience - In-depth understanding of eDiscovery phases and processes - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in litigation support applications - Ability to administer firm policies and procedures - Effective drafting and presentation skills - Leadership and influencing abilities
