Job Responsibilities:
Represent and advise insurance carriers in coverage disputes and bad faith litigation. Provide legal analysis and advice to insurance clients on coverage issues. Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and coverage position letters. Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents. Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Develop and maintain client relationships. Mentor and supervise junior associates and staff. Stay updated on changes in insurance law and industry practices.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in Pennsylvania. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience representing insurance carriers in complex coverage and bad faith litigation. Familiarity with state and federal court procedures and rules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage a large caseload. Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships. Experience mentoring and supervising junior associates and staff. Knowledge of insurance law and industry practices.
