Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in San Francisco. This full-time hybrid position offers a competitive salary range of $44.23 - $51.39 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and manage client documents, including electronic data, and determine potential relevance to each case - Conduct litigation, criminal, and civil background checks and obtain properly authenticated records as needed - Draft various legal documents for attorney review, such as removal documents, answers, motions, and more - Assist with preparation for trial, including managing exhibits and evidentiary matters, witness lists, and more - Conduct online research and utilize the firm's electronic resources efficiently - Juggle multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor - Review and ensure accuracy of vendor invoices
Requirements:
- Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program or a degree from a post-secondary institution with a minimum of 24 law-related units - Bachelor's or advanced degree with at least one year of law-related experience under the supervision of a qualified attorney - Written declaration from an attorney stating that the person is qualified to perform paralegal tasks
