The Law Firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting attorneys in personal injury and medical malpractice cases by compiling medical records and billing, organizing case files, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury and medical malpractice cases, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Experience Information: - Previous experience in personal injury and medical malpractice cases preferred - Strong organizational and communication skills required - Experience with drafting complaints, notices, and affidavits in healthcare liability cases - Familiarity with expert witness coordination and Courtroom note-taking a plus
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Compile medical records and billing in a format palatable for insurance adjusters in personal injury cases - Assist in preparation of written discovery to be propounded to Defendants - Exercise primary responsibility for the overall organization of personal injury and medical malpractice case files - Organize interview memos, digests, and other relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation - Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress - Assist in organizing information for expert witnesses and motions/motion responses - Prepare case files for trial by organizing exhibits and medical records - Coordinate expert witness and other witness logistics - Identify subrogation interests and negotiate when necessary - Assist with drafting complaints, notices, and affidavits in healthcare liability cases - Answer telephone and communicate with clients as needed

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting attorneys in personal injury and medical malpractice cases by compiling medical records and billing, organizing case files, and communicating with clients.
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to exercise primary responsibility for the overall organization of personal injury and medical malpractice case files. This includes organizing pleadings, correspondence, medical research, and legal research. You will also assist in preparing written discovery, organizing information for expert witnesses, and coordinating witness logistics. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist with drafting complaints, notices, and affidavits in healthcare liability cases.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in personal injury and medical malpractice cases, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.
