The Role:
As a Litigation Paralegal at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, you will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all aspects of case management. This includes managing deadlines, drafting legal documents, communicating with clients and other parties involved in the case, and more. You will also have the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management, including deadlines, Resolution Disbursal Statements, and recommendations for cost and time - Manage timelines and deadlines for assigned cases - Meet with clients to discuss case expectations and provide updates - Draft legal documents for attorney review - Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other case-related parties - Review medical records and assemble case files - Prepare and submit correspondence - Maintain detailed notes and updates in the case management system - Redact records - Assist with propounding discovery and e-filing - Schedule depositions, trials, and hearings - Prepare for trials, including exhibits, motions, evidence, and experts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in litigation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet all deadlines - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Positive attitude and self-starter
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Previous personal injury case management experience - Experience with Salesforce - Bilingual in Spanish
