In this role, you will provide vital support to our attorneys in the Litigation department, working on a variety of legal matters and gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, memos, and more - Prepare pleadings and incorporate documents - Assist with trial preparation, including organizing discovery documents, preparing exhibits, and labeling materials - File and record documents with appropriate offices and courts - Manage client documents and emails in designated workspaces - Create case notebooks and deposition summaries - Utilize case management software - Manage litigation support and information management systems - Collect materials and evidence, both physical and electronic - Design and implement document review systems - Manage document production process - Make relevant documents and information easily accessible - Design and manage databases - Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Excellent writing and communication skills - Ability to interact professionally with clients, court officials, and vendors - High level experience with litigation support applications - Strong team player with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment - 3-5 years of experience as a Labor & Employment paralegal preferred - Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification from an accredited source required - Strong analytical and organizational abilities - Creative and proactive approach to tasks
