Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage case files from start to finish, including mediation, arbitration, trial, and settlement - Prepare subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses - Conduct legal research and engage with subject matter experts - E-file in State and Federal Court systems - Prepare legal documents for attorneys, such as briefs, pleadings, and trial binders - Investigate facts as needed - Assist with trial preparation and attend trials when necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation - Bachelor's degree preferred - Previous experience in aviation/aerospace field a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various legal software - Strong writing and editing skills - Experience with trial preparation and participation - Knowledge of complex litigation - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well in a team environment

Salary Information:
- Estimated salary range: $64,000 - $105,000 annually - Benefits include: medical/dental/vision/life insurance & 401(k) - Salary determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications - Specific to Illinois location, not applicable to other locations
