Law Firm Seeking Full-Time Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant with Workers’ Compensation Experience in Cleveland, Ohio
Perez & Morris, a highly respected women-owned business defense law firm, is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-Time Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant with Workers’ Compensation experience to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. Responsibilities:
- Assisting attorneys who specialize in workers’ compensation cases - Accessing, uploading, and filing documents within Industrial Commission Online Network (I.C.O.N.) - Scheduling calls, conferences, mediation, and other events - E-filing court documents with county, state, and federal court systems - Scanning and saving documents to document management system - Organizing and assembling files for new matters - Submitting invoices for payments - Managing attorneys’ calendars - Other office administrative duties as assigned by the Managing Attorneys or Director of Firm Operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of legal assistant experience is required - Experience with filing in the I.C.O.N. - Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook - Friendly and professional demeanor and appearance - Adaptability, willingness to learn, and ability to work as a productive member of a team
This is a full-time position at our Cleveland, Ohio office with working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday), with potential for additional hours as needed.
