Summary: - The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is a national law firm that focuses on economic liberty, free speech, private property rights, and educational choice. - They are currently recruiting for Litigation Fellows to join their office in Phoenix, AZ in August 2025. - This Fellowship is the preferred path for recent law school graduates or post-clerkship candidates with less than two years of experience. - Fellows work on cutting-edge constitutional cases, fight government abuses, and champion individual rights. - They also have opportunities for media writing and appearances, public speaking, and grassroots activism. - The Fellowship runs from August 2025 to August 2027. - The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and communication skills, a passion for IJ's mission, and preferably, judicial clerkship experience. - The salary for Litigation Fellows is $110K per year, with superior benefits and flexible work options. - IJ is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
Job Responsibilities: - Work with IJ attorneys on creative, intellectually rigorous cases in federal and state courts. - Have direct contact with clients and participate in all stages of litigation. - Engage in media writing and appearances, public speaking, and grassroots activism. - Benefit from mentorship opportunities, expert media training, and a supportive and collegial legal work culture.
Qualifications: - Excellent writing and communication skills. - Passion for IJ's mission and a desire to push the envelope in strategizing for challenging cases. - Interest in limiting government power and promoting individual rights. - Judicial clerkship experience (preferred). - Must be barred in Arizona or eligible to waive into the Arizona Bar.
