Litigation Client Service Specialist Job at Law Firm in Morristown, NJ
The Law Firm is seeking a highly organized and experienced Litigation Client Service Specialist to join our Client Services Team (CST). In this role, you will provide administrative support to our team of attorneys in a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Morristown, NJ.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer and screen calls in a timely and courteous manner, providing superior client service - Work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure smooth transfer of information - Manage client data and facilitate dedicated interactions - Prioritize and manage tasks and projects, coordinating with other support services as needed - Maintain attorney calendars and assist with meeting deadlines - Prepare legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail - Provide primary support to multiple attorneys and backup coverage for other team members - Transmit legal documents to clients, witnesses, and court officials using various methods - Process new business requests and maintain client case files - Calendar deadlines and other important dates with accuracy and attention to detail - Collaborate with other team members and resources to complete projects and tasks - Adhere to firm policies and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree preferred, Bachelor's Degree a plus - Minimum of 7 years of experience at a law firm or legal/corporate department - Working knowledge of Federal and State Court electronic filing processes and procedures - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Professional demeanor and appearance - High level of confidentiality and customer service skills - Proficiency in legal terminology and experience in related practice area(s) - Experience with court and administrative agency filings and deadlines - Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office Suite - Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and have close visual acuity
