Salary: Competitive Experience: At least 7 years of insurance defense experience Employment type: Full-time
Overview Kubicki Draper, a leading law firm in Florida, is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Associate to join our Tampa office. This role requires at least 7 years of insurance defense experience, with a strong background in litigating third-party bodily injury claims and handling personal injury claims. Trial experience is preferred for this role.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery - Attend and chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients - Negotiate settlements - Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Communicate effectively with team members and clients - Thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Requirements:
- 7 years of insurance defense litigation experience - Trial experience is strongly preferred - Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing - Strong legal research and writing skills - Persuasive oral advocacy skills - Client-centric approach to exceptional service - Highly organized with clear and concise communication style
