We specialize in representing medical groups, technology companies, and other healthcare organizations in a variety of legal matters. We are currently seeking a litigation associate with 1-6 years of experience to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a broad range of matters for clients, including commercial litigation, regulatory compliance, contract disputes, reimbursement disputes, peer review, and employment issues - Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings - Argue in court and attend depositions and other hearings - Communicate with clients and provide updates on case progress - Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Active member of the California State Bar in good standing - 1-6 years of experience as a law firm associate, government litigator, or judicial law clerk - Strong research, writing, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively - Prior healthcare experience is not required, but a strong interest in healthcare law is preferred
Compensation:
- Competitive salary ranging from $140,000-$230,000 per year, depending on experience - Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off - Realistic opportunity for partnership and increased responsibility and client contact compared to larger firms
