Job Description:
- Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes, and real estate litigation. - Manage a case load of contested matters for both routine and complex foreclosure, eviction, and other real estate disputes. - Appear in state and federal court for necessary motions and hearings. - Communicate regularly with clients for updates and case resolution. - Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents. - Draft motions, prepare written discovery and responses. - Conduct settlement negotiations. - Work independently or in a team setting. - Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions. - Interact and communicate effectively with clients, staff, peers, and management. - Stay updated on Texas Mortgage Foreclosure Law, Code of Civil Procedure, and Supreme Court Rules. - Previous experience with residential and commercial property foreclosure litigation preferred.
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree and licensed in Texas with good standing with the Texas Bar. - Minimum 2 years relevant litigation experience. - Minimum 2 years motion practice experience. - Minimum 2 years courtroom experience. - Knowledge of Texas Mortgage Foreclosure Law, Code of Civil Procedure, and Supreme Court Rules. - Previous experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property.

- Strong time management and prioritization skills. - Excellent writing skills. - Effective written and oral communication. - Ability to work independently or in a team setting. - High level of professionalism in all interactions. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle a high volume of work and maintain attention to detail. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting, talking, and hearing. - Occasional standing, walking, and use of hands. - Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. - Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
