In this role, you will have the opportunity to make appearances in state and federal court, review incoming litigation, develop case strategies, and negotiate settlements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of contested matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and investors - Appear in court and argue motions related to foreclosure, eviction, title disputes, and other real estate matters - Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and negotiate case resolutions - Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents to develop case strategies - Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses
Requirements:
- J.D. degree and licensed in Texas, in good standing with the Texas Bar - Minimum of 2 years of relevant litigation experience - Minimum of 2 years of motion practice experience - Minimum of 2 years of courtroom experience - Knowledge of Texas Mortgage Foreclosure Law, Code of Civil Procedure, and Supreme Court Rules - Previous experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively manage time and priorities - Strong writing skills - Excellent written and oral communication abilities - Ability to work independently or in a team setting - Maintain a high level of professionalism - Interact and communicate effectively with clients, staff, peers, and management
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Normal office working conditions with quiet to moderate noise level - Must be able to sit, talk, and hear frequently - Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch - Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds - Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus
Salary Information:
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary of $90,000-$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
