Litigation Attorney - Personal Injury Law Firm
The Buckeye Law Group, a rapidly growing personal injury law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Litigation Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch legal representation to our clients and ensuring they receive the best care and obtain excellent results. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years experience in personal injury law, preferably with medical malpractice experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases Meet with clients to discuss their case and demonstrate compassion and empathy Update clients on the status of their case and communicate with insurance companies Prepare cases for trial and try cases if needed Review medical records and other relevant documents Write and argue legal documents, including memos and demands Manage a docket of cases according to office policy Conduct intake meetings with new clients Attend and conduct IME’s, EUO’s, and recorded statements Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Experience and Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in personal injury law Preference for experience in medical malpractice Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills Intermediate to advanced computer and general office skills Ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written correspondence Analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently
Licensure:
Must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing
Salary and Benefits:
Base salary of $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience Bonus structure in addition to base salary Paid time off and personal time Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Company paid Long Term Disability and Life Insurance Supplemental insurance options (Short Term Disability, Voluntary Life, Hospital, Critical Illness, and Accident) 401k retirement plan Company-paid parking
