The successful candidate will handle a wide range of general liability matters in both states, including drafting legal documents, taking and defending depositions, and appearing in court when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of general liability matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey - Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents - Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis - Attend court appearances as needed - Take and defend depositions - Handle oral arguments - Communicate with clients and provide updates on case progress
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey - 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably defending liability claims - Experience in drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents - Familiarity with premises liability, general liability, automobile, and insurance defense - Strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills - Excellent academic credentials
