The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (IJ) is seeking a mid-level Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in federal and state court to join our team in Arlington, VA. As the leading public-interest law firm in the country, IJ focuses on cases involving economic liberty, free speech, private property rights, and educational choice. Our attorneys have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge constitutional cases, fight against government abuses, and champion individual rights.
What You'll Do: - Develop and direct legal strategy for cases in federal and state court - Take depositions and present oral arguments at all stages of litigation, including the U.S. Supreme Court - Participate in media writing and appearances, public speaking, grassroots activism, and advocacy to policymakers and legislators
What We Look For: - Excellent writing and communication skills - A passion for making a real-world impact and willingness to think outside the box in strategizing for challenging cases - At least 5 years of experience litigating cases in federal and state court (all experience levels welcome to apply) - A commitment to limiting government power and protecting individual rights - Judicial clerkship experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits: The annual expected pay range for this position is $140K - $160K, with the final offer amount depending on factors such as litigation skillset and relevant experience. We also offer flexible work schedules, two days per week to work from home, and up to four weeks per year to work from anywhere in the world with WiFi.
