Kubicki Draper, a leading law firm in Florida, is currently seeking an experienced litigation attorney with a background in insurance defense. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of civil litigation experience in Florida and be a licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing. This is a full-time position in our Pensacola office, with the opportunity for growth and a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities
As a litigation attorney at Kubicki Draper, you will have the opportunity to handle a variety of tasks, including:
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings and motions - Responding to discoveries - Attending and chairing hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and settlement negotiations - Working with Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel - Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients - Thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Requirements
- 1 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense - Client-centric approach and commitment to exceptional client service - Strong organizational skills and clear communication style - Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing
