Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and court appearances. Meet with clients and execute contracts. Prepare for witness depositions. Respond to written discovery requests. Handle extensive motions practice. Represent clients in bench and jury trials. Assist with cases from beginning to conclusion. Manage and assist with document production. Have a working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Requirements
JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record (Top 15% preferred). Proactive, independent, and excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Licensed in Tennessee desired, but candidates eligible and/or willing to become licensed will be considered.
