Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research and writing briefs, motions, and other legal documents - Managing all aspects of the litigation process, including written discovery, depositions, and trial preparation - Communicating with clients and providing regular updates on case status - Entering billable time accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school - Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in litigation - Experience in medical malpractice/insurance defense is a plus - Must be licensed to practice in MD and DC (VA license is a plus) - Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and research skills - Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
