Are you an experienced attorney looking for a new opportunity in civil litigation? Amundsen Davis, a full-service business law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our Chicago office. We are a rapidly growing firm with a team of 240 attorneys, and we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Tort Litigation practice.
About the Position:
- Full-time, hybrid position based in Chicago, IL - One to three years of experience in civil litigation required - Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois - Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills necessary - Ability to work well on a team and handle all aspects of litigation - Experience in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and preparing case evaluations preferred
Salary and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range of $105,000-$125,000, depending on experience - Additional bonus opportunities available - Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and more
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including oral and written discovery, motion practice, and trial - Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions - Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and other legal documents - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court as needed
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - Licensed to practice law in Illinois - One to three years of experience in civil litigation - Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills - Detail-oriented and able to work well on a team
