Responsibilities:
- Drafting litigation documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery demands. - Conducting research and appearing in court. - Taking depositions. - Communicating and building relationships with clients, court staff, adversaries, and witnesses. - Being a team player and contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school. - Licensed to practice law in New York. - 5 years of experience in litigation. - Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines. - Flexible and able to prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong oral and written advocacy skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: $115k-$145k, commensurate with experience. - Benefits include medical, dental, and 401K. - Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates outside of Rochester, NY.
