Wilson Elser, a top-ranked law firm with over 1,250 attorneys, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for our Milwaukee office. This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and ample opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with discovery requests and responses - Drafting pretrial motions - Attending court hearings, depositions, and mediations - Working closely and collaborating with other attorneys and partners - Conducting efficient legal research - Assisting in preparation of cases for trial
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school - Admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin or qualified for reciprocal admission - 3 years of defense litigation experience - Experience handling construction, insurance coverage, transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Client-facing experience preferred - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
