Litigation Associate – Join our Growing Law Firm in Auckland

About the Role
As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for a range of civil litigation files with a focus on professional negligence and insurance. This includes defending civil claims and disciplinary proceedings against various professionals, such as solicitors, valuers, surveyors, architects, and engineers. You will also have the opportunity to work on complex indemnity disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across teams to gain exposure to different practice areas - Receive mentoring from a Kaitiaki (Guardian Partner) and Senior Mentor - Collaborate with senior lawyers - Build relationships within industry networks - Access training and development programs
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation - Comfortable with all aspects of civil procedure, contract interpretation, and negligence claims - Experience delegating and supporting junior lawyers - Strong analytical and communication skills - High attention to detail - Outgoing and able to work well in a team environment
