We are seeking a Litigation Assistant who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have a passion for the legal field.
The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on experience. The position also offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm.
Responsibilities: - Provide support to attorneys in a law office setting - Prepare and file legal documents - Maintain case information and inventories of contact details - Communicate with clients, witnesses, colleagues, and partners - Meet deadlines and manage records and projects - Conduct research and investigate facts for cases - Assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications: - Law office experience is required - Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is a plus - Excellent communication and phone skills - Strong written communication and typing abilities - Ability to multitask and follow instructions - Professional demeanor and positive attitude - Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat - Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)
