Lending and Finance Lawyer The candidate should have 5 years of experience in finance or loan origination, preferably in both a law firm and in-house corporate legal department; experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of complex financial transactions and agreements including, leveraged finance, corporate finance, syndicated lending, trade finance, or cross-border financing; experience and interest in business client advisory; experience advising on lending financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers and analyzing financing transactional agreements for regulatory implementation. Admitted and in good standing with a Law Society in Canada. self-motivated, use plain language, offer practical business advice, and are comfortable working both remotely and on-site when needed. The ability to work in (or willingness to learn!) a tech-enabled environment is a must.
