Job Summary: - Performs legal secretarial and clerical work for the Child Support department. - Types various legal documents and correspondence. - Schedules appointments and arranges for transportation and accommodations. - Maintains detailed files. - Screens and receives public inquiries by phone and in person. - Proofreads documents for accuracy. - Operates office equipment and machines.
Minimum Qualifications: - Completion of 2 years of legal secretarial or business college and 1 year of secretarial experience, or high school graduate (GED) and 3 years of secretarial experience. - Effective communication skills. - Physical ability to file and duplicate information. - Proficient in operating office equipment and machines. - Regular attendance is required for this position.
Hours of Work: - Monday-Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. - In-office attendance is required.
