Position Summary:
The Legal Secretary II will provide administrative support to the Children's Court Attorney office, including preparing court pleadings and correspondence, scheduling meetings and court dates, maintaining case files, and preparing financial documents. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, customer service, and multi-tasking in a busy workplace. They should also possess good communication skills and have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of directly related clerical and/or secretarial experience utilizing legal terminology, procedures, and documents. Extensive travel may be required for this position, as well as the ability to work under stress and frequent time constraints.
