Job Description:
- Full-time in-house position at a law firm in Pittsburgh, PA - Utilize nursing experience in a Monday-Friday administrative schedule - Assist attorneys with medical aspects of cases in litigation - Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records and related documentation - Prepare medical research and consult with expert witnesses - Maintain organized and indexed medical records in digital or paper format - Analyze medical records for appropriate documentation - Regularly communicate with healthcare providers, experts, and attorneys - Must have a bachelor's degree in nursing - Proficient in written and oral communication, internet research, and Microsoft Office - Legal experience not necessary, but research, writing, and organizational skills should be excellent - Hands-on training position with opportunities for growth and advancement
